Sonja Wrethman is a trained, experienced professional photographer with an eye for detail and a love for natural light. She has a degree in photography, has over 10 years experience, has had numerous fine art exhibitions and published her own fine art coffee table book. She has undertaken commissions all over the world including South Africa, England, Croatia and Australia and currently resides on the Sunshine Coast.

I’m a mum of two amazing little boys and wife of my childhood sweetheart and absolute lover of this place we get to call home, Noosa. I’d love to meet you!
I have a particular love for the golden hour. In those last few moments when the sun slips under the horizon it’s warm, glowing quality gift’s perfectly formed flare circles across my images and I see my subject, being touched by it.
When you ‘see’ through the veil that most people wear on a daily basis, even if it’s in a moment, you can see this vulnerability, this purity, this innocence that is just, well, so incredibly beautiful. I seek those moments out in my shoots – where that guard is let down, and I’m never disappointed. People – and their hearts – are breathtaking!
I have a degree in Photography, exhibited many fine art shows, Published coffee table books and worked professionally around the world for 15 years doing what I love – creating beautiful imagery.
