Horizon Festival’s Dawn Awakening has been rescheduled to Sunday 30 October at 4.30am.
NEW DETAILS
New date: Sunday 30 October
Location: Stumers Creek, Coolum Beach QLD 4573
Time: 4.30am on the dot. Please arrive early and make sure you are seated no later than 4.20am.
(The sunrise is integral to the ceremony, so the start time has been brought forward 30 mins to reflect that.)
EVENT OVERVIEW
Gather with us along the banks of Stumers Creek in Coolum as the first light rises and the voices of First Peoples call in a new energy for these times.
Together we will journey through story, dance, song, visual art projections, spoken word and fire installations, to reflect, strengthen and testify a flourishing connection to country, culture and each other.
BOOKINGS
This is a free event, but registrations are essential.
PARKING + GETTING THERE
Parking on Stumers Creek Road is quite limited so a ‘Park n Ride’ service will be available from Tickle Park to Stumers Creek from 3.30am to 4.15am and then 5.30am to 7.00am.
